Intern at Sacred Heart. He’s weird, intensely curious and incredibly optimistic. (Tenor)

Extremely book-smart, while her social abilities are somewhat lacking. Like, a lot. (Light soprano)

African American, but open to other ethnicities. Highly competitive, big goofy energy. Does everything with a smile. Even argue with his wife, Carla. (Sings! Baritenor)

Dr. Cox
His cruel treatment of J.D. and the interns is intended as conditioning for the rigors of hospital life. But he can crush the soul of a person at twenty paces by merely using their name. (Baritone. Must be great with wordy songs)

Dominican (she sings a song about it). Nurse and recent parent with Turk. Opinionated, stubborn, and domineering, but continually caring, acting as a mother figure to interns. (Alto)

Dr. Kelso
Chief of Medicine. Seen to be selfish, intimidating and mean-spirited, driven primarily by the hospital’s bottom line rather than the well-being of patients. However, in this episode he is the leader of the grand welcoming party to Sacred Heart. (Baritone)

Ted Buckland
Sacred Heart’s lawyer. As the hospital’s “sad sack,” he has pathetically low self-esteem and frequent suicidal tendencies. (SINGS! Tenor. Leads barbershop quartet).

The mysterious custodian who makes tormenting J.D. his life’s work. (Baritone)

Miss Miller
Patient who sees and hears everyone singing and dancing. (Sings! Soprano).
